Hi friends, and welcome to my page! I’m so excited to have you here, and that you would take a few minutes out of your day to spend here with me! My name is Ja’Chi Clark, and it’s a pleasure to meet you!

To intro myself, I’m a young adult, and a recent graduate from The Ohio State University. As I’ve been navigating my time post-grad, I’ve been taking stock of my life so far. As a young Black man, I’ve always felt a little like an outsider among my peers, who were often more interested in things like sports, while I was always more into comics and movies. I’ve always had thoughts and opinions, but no one to share my thoughts with. That’s where this blog came in!

I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s experienced something like this, and if I’m out of the loop let me know, but I don’t see a lot of Black nerds being proud of their nerdiness, and so I’m here to do what I can to bring it out of people 🙂 Of course everybody is welcome here, but I hope this is a space where people like me feel comfortable and free to nerd out, and remember that it’s something worth being proud of!

What’s This Blog About?

By now, you’re like – “Alright, I get it guy, but what’s the blog actually about?” Well, being that I’m a “Black Nerd”, or “Blerd”, hence the name *wink*, this is a home for all things pop culture – I’ll be talking about…

• Comics – Superheroes and Indie Stuff
• Movies and TV
• Video Games
• Music – not really mainstream, cause I don’t know anything about it
• Whatever else!

I’m also open to suggestions, we’re in this together! My plan is to release new blog posts monthly right now, and probably rotate subject matter between the previously mentioned.
